We sell this bike (Schwinn Racer) with this rim (Alex PR25F) and it has caused much stress in our store. The rim doesn't allow the tube to seat firmly into it and the tube cavitates and explodes internally into the rim. Schwinn suggests to use a heavy duty tube but this is not a solution and only prolongs the problem. The problem is the rim. The narrow gorge left by eliminating the second wall of the rim it the defect in design. |
